one day at a time . . .

My CF Journey

I have Cystic Fibrosis – born in 1967 and diagnosed in 1992. I decided to start a blog to express my journey, thoughts and feelings without exposing my name. Cystic Fibrosis effects thousands of people and at my age I am living past the expected life expectancy. This is great and scary – since the future is unclear. I have a son, born in 1995 and he is my reason for doing whatever I can to extend my life as long as I can.

I was also born in 1967 and diagnosed with CF in 1974. I had a bi-lateral lung transplant in 2004 and a kidney transplant in 2004. My life was changed significantly by the lung transplant and I’m sure that yours will be also. Staying positive is the key to your success.
